It's confirmed:  We still know how to live it up!

What a night it was in the California Ballroom at the Walnut Creek Marriott!  111 or so of us ate, drank, caught up with each other, took pictures, hugged, laughed, talked, talked, talked, listened to Debra Gibbs beautiful voice serenade us once more, attempted to win raffle prizes and silent auction items, danced, and were generally quite merry tonight!  Again, time seemed to pass much too quickly, and before we knew it, the lights were coming on and the DJ was packing up his music.

The 23 or so of us who were too reluctant for the night end to leave, headed for WPLJs to close it down again.  More talking, more drinking, more game playing at the pool table, and more dancing just kept everyone energized and motivated to stay together.

The staff of WPLJs wanted to go home, and they kicked us out of the place after 2am.  "See you in 409!" was our departing word as we made our way back down the street to the Marriot.  Imagine more than twenty 38 year olds crammed into a little hotel room - you'd think they'd be sedate and dignified, but no - we are still Red Devils at heart, so we got kicked out of not one, but TWO rooms (we had moved the party to 506, the reunion committee's suite, when we felt the heat closing in on us) by hotel security for being too boisterous.

It was 3 o' clock in the morning when the hotel threatened to call the cops, so I made myself scarce.  After our previous all-nighter, my body is begging for sleep, so I was near the front of the mass exodus.  The rest of the group may very well still be partying, but because I didn't stick around, I won't know what happened for sure until our lively classmates roll into the picnic bright and early Sunday at noon!
